Agreement
This License Agreement governs the use of website templates and related digital template files purchased or otherwise licensed through the Orvanto Marketplace.
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, installing, modifying, or using an Orvanto template, you agree to the terms of this License Agreement.
This License Agreement works together with Orvanto's Terms of Service and Refund Policy .
License Grant
When you successfully purchase an Orvanto template, Orvanto grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use and modify that template for one licensed website, subject to this License Agreement.
The license gives you permission to use the template. It does not transfer ownership of the original template or Orvanto's underlying intellectual property to you.
Unless otherwise expressly stated for a particular product, each separately purchased template license applies to one live website.
One License, One Website
One template purchase permits use of that template on one independent live website.
A licensed website may contain multiple pages, sections, features, subpages, and related content. Those pages may all use the purchased template as part of the same website.
The same license may not be used to operate multiple separate websites for different businesses, brands, clients, organizations, domains, or independent projects.
If you want to use the same Orvanto template for another independent website, another license must be purchased for that website.
Changing the domain of the same website does not automatically create a second website, provided the original licensed website is moved rather than duplicated and operated separately.
Commercial Use
Orvanto templates may be used for commercial websites under a valid license.
This includes websites used to advertise or operate businesses, sell lawful products or services, generate revenue, promote professional services, display portfolios, receive customer inquiries, or otherwise support commercial activity.
Commercial use of the finished website does not give you the right to commercially redistribute or resell the underlying Orvanto template itself.
Client Work
You may purchase and use an Orvanto template to create one website for a client.
After the website is completed, you may transfer the completed website and its necessary source files to that client so the client can operate, maintain, host, and modify the licensed website.
The license remains associated with that single website after the transfer.
Once a template license has been used for a client's website, neither you nor the client may use that same license to create another independent website.
A developer, agency, freelancer, or other service provider must purchase an additional license each time the template is used to create another independent client website.
Transferring a completed website to a client does not permit either party to separately resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the original template as a standalone product.
Modifications
You may modify a licensed template for use on the licensed website.
Permitted modifications may include changing:
- Colors and visual styling.
- Typography.
- Images and media.
- Text and other content.
- Layouts and page structures.
- Components and interface elements.
- Animations and interactions.
- Frontend code.
- Backend integrations and functionality.
- Other elements necessary to customize the licensed website.
Modifying a template does not remove the restrictions in this License Agreement.
A modified version of an Orvanto template may not be redistributed or sold as a template, theme, starter kit, website builder asset, downloadable product, or substantially similar competing product.
Development, Staging and Backups
You may create reasonable copies of a licensed template when those copies are necessary to develop, test, maintain, migrate, or back up the licensed website.
This may include local development environments, private development servers, staging environments, testing environments, and backup copies.
These copies do not count as additional licensed websites as long as they are being used exclusively in connection with the same licensed website and are not independently operated as separate websites.
License Restrictions
Unless Orvanto expressly gives you additional permission, you may not:
- Use one license for multiple independent live websites.
- Sell or redistribute the original template files.
- Share template source files with another person for use on a separate website.
- Give away copies of a template.
- Sublicense the template as a standalone product.
- Upload the template to another template marketplace or digital marketplace.
- Publish the template as a free downloadable template.
- Sell a modified version of the template as another template or theme.
- Include the template in a template bundle, library, collection, repository, or subscription service for redistribution.
- Use the template to create a competing template product intended for redistribution.
- Claim ownership of Orvanto's original template or underlying design as a standalone product.
- Remove or circumvent technical license controls for the purpose of unauthorized redistribution or use.
These restrictions do not prevent you from transferring the completed licensed website to the client for whom that website was created as permitted under this Agreement.
Ownership
Orvanto retains ownership of its original templates, designs, source materials, branding, and other intellectual property except where expressly stated otherwise.
Purchasing a template is the purchase of a license to use that template under this Agreement. It is not a sale or assignment of Orvanto's intellectual property rights in the original template.
You retain ownership of original content and materials that you create or lawfully add to the licensed website, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
A client's original business information, trademarks, logos, photographs, written content, and other customer-provided materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-Party Assets
An Orvanto template may interact with or display third-party assets, software, libraries, fonts, icons, images, APIs, plugins, services, or other materials.
Third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses, terms, and intellectual property rights.
Unless a template's product description expressly states otherwise, the purchase of an Orvanto template does not automatically grant ownership of third-party assets shown in demonstrations, previews, mockups, or example content.
You are responsible for obtaining any separate licenses or permissions required for third-party content that you choose to use on the licensed website.
Refunds and License Revocation
If a template purchase is fully refunded, the license associated with that purchase may be revoked.
After a license has been validly revoked following a full refund, you must stop using the template and remove copies of the refunded template from websites, servers, development environments, and other systems under your control, except where retention is required by law.
You may not request or receive a full refund and then continue operating a website using the refunded template.

License Termination
A template license may be terminated or revoked where permitted by applicable law if the license was obtained fraudulently, the associated payment is validly reversed or refunded, or the template is materially used in violation of this License Agreement.
Where a violation can reasonably be corrected, Orvanto may provide an opportunity to correct the violation before terminating the license, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
Upon valid termination of a license, continued use of the affected template is no longer authorized.
Provisions concerning ownership, redistribution restrictions, liability, and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Template Availability and Compatibility
Orvanto may provide information regarding the technologies, browsers, devices, integrations, or environments for which a template was designed.
Unless expressly guaranteed in the applicable product description, Orvanto does not guarantee compatibility with every browser version, device, hosting environment, third-party plugin, API, service, framework, or customer modification.
Changes made by customers or third parties may affect template appearance, performance, security, or functionality.
Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to This Agreement
Orvanto may update this License Agreement as its marketplace, licensing model, products, or legal requirements change.
The "Last updated" date on this page identifies the most recent revision.
Material changes will apply as permitted by applicable law. Orvanto will not retroactively remove rights already granted under a completed purchase where doing so would violate applicable law or an existing contractual obligation.
